Painted Park is proudly owned and run by Kirsten Melis and Paul Dyson.

They have years professional experience in the horse industry.
Paul comes from a racing family, was a successful jockey and has worked along side some of the best in the industry.
Kirsten has got a background in equestrian and racing in Australia as well as in the Netherlands. If she is not busy breaking or educating horses, she is professionally trimming and shoeing horses.

In 2009 Kirsten purchased her first race horse at the Perth yearling sales. A big grey colt by Trade Fair, quickly named Painted. Painted did well on the track, he ran in the group 2 Karrakatta plate, won 6 races and finished his racing career as a 7yo. Not bad too shabby for your first owned race horse!
The big grey now resides in the lovely large paddocks, is a great nanny to all horses and is everyone's favorite.
